 This is our favourite short safari from Mombasa as it includes a night in the fabulous Amboseli National Park with its stunning landscape.
You would normally do this safari in the middle of your beach stay, so you would start your holiday with a few days on the beach, then on the Friday you would begin this safari, then on the Monday you would return back to you beach hotel - or another! - for the remainder of your holiday.

Tsavo West (1 night)
Friday After breakfast leave your beach hotel in Mombasa and drive to Tsavo West National Park. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive which usually includes a visit to Mzima Springs, famed for its hippos and crocodiles. Tsavo West is a dramatic landscape of mountains, volcanoes, river forests and plains, and is most famous for its elephants and giraffes. You will also hopefully see waterbuck, impalas, buffaloes, lions, and cheethas. Accommodation 1 night at Kilaguni Serena Lodge Meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Amboseli (1 night)
Saturday After an early breakfast drive to Amboseli. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is one of the most spectacular parks in Kenya, dominated by the imposing backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is home to lions, cheetahs, vast herds of elephants and over 400 species of birds. Tsavo East (1 night)
Sunday After an early morning game drive and breakfast, drive to Tsavo East National Park. Lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East has a water hole that attracts wildlife from all around including elephants, giraffes, gazelles, hyenas, zebras and warthogs.
